This post summarises the changes that have been implemented in version 3.3.6 of enterO.

Add custom content to entry confirmation email (#180)

Event specific custom content can now be added to confirmation emails, for example:

Add clauses

Two clauses have been added to the ‘Approved by’ section on request of School Sport NZ.

The bank deposit section has been extended so that it now includes the Account Name

Add custom content to event home page

Until now, the event description that is displayed on the event home page has been limited in length as it has had to fit into the database’s description column. For some events however a longer description is required to adequately describe the event.

To cover this scenario, events can now display content from a custom include file instead of, or as well as, the existing event description.

The include file makes it much easier to edit and format more complex content as well as not restricting the amount of information that can be displayed, for example:

Add links to ONZ ‘Choose the right course’ help page (#183)

The ONZ website has information on how to choose which course to enter which is very useful for beginners.

There is now an optional flag which will display a link to the ONZ page on both the classes page…

Don’t display order merchandise button if sales have closed (#184)

For events that sell merchandies, they may choose to have a different merchandise close date to the entry close date. In theses cases, when viewing a submitted entry, the ‘Order Merchandise’ button has been incorrectly displayed after sales have closed.

This has now been fixed so that the ‘Order merchandise’ button is only displayed whne merchandise can be purchased.
