UI improvements (#179)

A number of UI improvements have been made in this release.

Event fee list now has separators between race groups

In the case of a race series where each day there are multiple races to choose from, the Event Fee page now adds a separator to provide a visual grouping for each race in the series.

Table headers now stick to top of page

In the case where there are a lot of rows in a table, until now the header has gone off the top of the page when scrolling through the table.

This has now been changed so that the table header now sticks to the top of the page making it easier to see what the columns in each row refer to.

Make merchandise prompts configurable

For events that sell something as well as taking entries, the text that has been displayed on buttons and in descriptions has been fixed to “Order merchandise” and, in one case, set to “Sell tickets”.

This has now been made configurable so that each event can set whatever text is appropriate. For example Waikato’s Rugged Rogaine uses ‘Make a donation to the Maungatautari Sanctuary’

Additionally, on the Event Fees page, the prompt that items can be picked up at the event is configurable so that it is optionally displayed as it only applies to events that are selling physical items such as t-shirts.

Race selection improved

The entry page has several UI improvements for the case where users must select to enter one race from a set:

  • A message is now displayed if an individual is not eligible to enter any of a set of races (because all races in the set are team only)
  • Races that are able to be selected are now always displayed in black
  • Races that are not able to be selected are now always displayed in grey. This will be because individuals are not allowed or teams are not allowed or the race has not been entered

No individual entries

Optional waiver for orders

A separate option has been added that can be used to not display the waiver when creating an order. This is separate to the entry waiver flag as there are cases where the entry waiver is required however the order waiver is not.

Improve bank account validation (#175)

Bank account details can now be set per club, then optionally overridden per event if required. The administrative function that checks that the event configuration is valid now takes this into account and no longer reports an error if the event bank account is not set.

Bugfix: CC order audit record (#178)

Previously the audit record that is created when using a Credit Card to pay for an Order was incorrectly setting the audit status to failure even when the payment succeeded. This now sets the status correctly.
