Make merchandise close message optional (#158)
Along with taking entries, event organisers can sell ‘merchandise’ in their event. This may cover the obvious things like t-shirts and dinner tickets however can also be used to cover things like donations to local organisations. Until now, the close message for these events includes notification that both entries and the sale of merchandise close.

For events where you are actually selling merchandise (such as t-shirts or dinner tickets), this message is useful. In other cases where, for example, you might be asking for donations to a local organisation, this is unnecessary and gets in the way.
This update makes the display of the merchandise message optional and, if enabled, just displays the entry close message.

Note that this only applies if entries and merchandise sales close on the same date, if there are separate merchandise close dates, these will always be displayed.
Family Fee takes precedence over Family Race Fee (#159)
In the case where Family or Family Race fees are used for an event, enterO calculates each and takes the lowest amount. In the case where the calculated entry fees are the same, the following order of precedence should be applied:
- Family Fees
- Family Race fees
- Individual fees
There were some cases where we were incorrectly displaying the Family Race fees rather than the Family fees. Note that the amount charged was correct, it’s just that the display of the fee breakdown was not what was intended.
This has now been fixed so that the Family fee is always displayed if amounts are the same.
Improve school tax invoice (#160)
For clubs running schools events, there are often requests from schools to provide a Tax Invoice. The school entry registration form already provides the required information to be a Tax Invoice for clubs that are GST registered, however did not for clubs that are not GST registered.
The school entry registration form has now been updated to always include Tax Invoice information whether the club is GST registered or not, showed ‘Not GST registered’ if not registered as well as showing the event date(s).
The name that is displayed defaults to the name of the organising club however can be overridden if required.

Enable organising club pricing on SI hire (#161)
SI Hire now supports pricing per club. Typically this will be used by the organising club to offer lower, or free, SI hire to their club members.
Improve Other Club prompts (#162)
Often in orienteering events, an extra fee is charged to people who are not a member of an orienteering club. This is done in the UI by getting people to select their NZ Orienteering club, or to select ‘Other club’ if they are a member of an oversea orienteering club. Those that select ‘No club’ are charged the extra fee however for some events this has resulted in people belonging to any other club (eg a MTB club) entering their other club and incorrectly not being charged the fee.
To help make this clearer, the prompts now include the word ‘Orienteering’:

Improve Credit Card support for school events (#163)
Most events use the entry status to signify that payment has been received - Submitted means the entry has not been reconciled and Confirmed means that payment has been received. Entries that pay by Bank Transfer require a manual reconciliation process however Credit Card payments automatically have their entry status set to Confirmed.
School events that use the registration PDF use a different workflow. In this case, the entry status is instead used to signify that signoff has been received from the school that all competitors are eligible to represent the school. If a payment is made by Credit Card however, the signoff process was circumvented by the entry status being set to Confirmed.
This has now been fixed so that for school events that use the registration PDF, all entries have their entry status set to Submitted, even if they pay by Credit Card.
Add generic race fees (#164, #167)
Generic Race fees and Family race fees are now supported. The processing rules are:
- Use race specific fee if available
- Otherwise use generic, non race specific, fee
This simplifies setting up events, especially for the case of a race series where the same fees are usually set for all races.
Improve Orders (#165)
Add ‘sell tickets’ option to event to improve the UI for events that just sell tickets.
Add option to not ask for phone and address for orders.
Add optional open date to items which, if set, has these effects:
- When creating an Order, only items that are currently open for sale are displayed so that items can not be purchased until the Open Date has been reached
- All items are always displayed on the Event Fees page independent of their open and close dates
- The open and close dates, if set, are now displayed on the Event Fees page

- The Event Fees page now shows that sales have closed for items that have passed their close date

Optionally enforce SIAC only (#166)
The following changes have been made to support events that require all competitors to use a SIAC card
- Add a prompt when adding a competitor that they must use a SIAC card

- Validate that their SIAC card number is within the required range of 8,000,001 to 8,999,999. If not in range, an error is displayed and the competitor can not be saved
