This post summarises the changes that have been implemented in version 3.1.7 of enterO.

  • Add support for team fees
  • Bugfix: Teams are now correctly charged SI hire fee

Add support for team fees (#87)

Until now, all race fees have been charged against Individuals and Team members, race fees have never been able to be charged against Teams.

This release adds flexibility in the way that race fees are charged so that they may be applied to any combination of Individual, Team member and Team.

Note that this currently applies to Race fees only; all other fees (eg Individual maximum, Family, SportIdent hire) carry on working the same way they always have.

This screen shot shows an example where team members are charged 50% of the individual fees (in this case teams comprise two competitors so a team of two is charged the same amount as an individual).

Bugfix: Teams are now correctly charged SI hire fee (#87)

There are two ways to configure SportIdent hire fees within enterO:

  1. The original method applies a blanket SI hire fee against every race that an Individual or Team has entered
  2. A new more flexible method that allows for different fees based on age as well as supporting a maximum SI hire fee

For events that have used the first method, Teams have been charged the correct SI hire fee.

For events that have used the second method, if those events allow team entries they would incorrectly have not been charged the SI hire.

This has been fixed in this release so that Teams are now charged the correct SI hire fee.
